Hello everyone I hope you are all keeping well.
As we move into 2014 we are finding more peer to peer websites develop in the U.K.
Within 6 weeks according to U.K. newspapers we will have another set up and running offering loans from £50,000 to £3 million via peer to peer.
It has been set up by a director of an asset management company and has raised £3 million from investors to fund the site.
When it is operational we will let you know and will put it on our portal www.nonbanklending.co.uk so it is accessible .
We do expect more p2p and crowdfunding sites to develop as software is available for purchase as a ready built platform.
There is also the fact that the market for this type of lending is developing fast and many in the U.K. are dissatisfied by their treatment with the major banks when applying for a loan.
Another major bank has today announced more redundancies from its' retail side therefore obviously not helping its' customers as much.
Also for my viewers outside the U.K. another major bank has started to ask customers what they are doing with funds when they withdraw cash from their accounts. No wonder more in the U.K. are keeping more money at home these days.
Happy and successful investing to you all.
Christopher.

P2p attracting investment for small builders in the U.K.
Hi everyone I hope you are all keeping well.
Within the U.K. because there is a withdrawal of funding by the banks for development finance for the smaller builders.Peer to peer is starting to fill this gap.
In the U.K. one platform which lends to this type of financing is www.wellesley.co.uk based in London. This is a welcome edition to the other peer to peer and crowdfunding sites that can be found on www.nonbanklending.co.uk .
This type of finance is growing fast and as long as it is managed successfully will inevitably take business from the large banks one by one.Although the large banks do not seem to want this type of financing in the long term they will eventually erode their customer base.
The world of finance is changing fast and will not ever be as it was before.
Happy and successful investing to you all,
Christopher.

P2P and crowdfunding growing in U.K.
Hi everyone I hope you are all keeping well.
In the U.K. they always seem to be a little behind the curve more so than the U.S.A.
It is only now that p2p and crowdfunding is beginning to settle into the mainstream of finance and that it is reported that the U.K. government is edging towards promoting this way of funding.
One of the problems we have in the U.K. is getting in front of small businesses and entrepreneurs that both p2p and crowdfunding will possibly be of use to them.
The website www.nonbanklending.co.uk/ at this point in time is a portal of the relevant sites in the U.K. to do with both p2p and crowdfunding.
It will be upgraded soon to give more information and direction.
